The final week took PEP to Perth and the Scottish Owl Centre.
Despite the rain the two busloads from PEP were in high spirits and eager to explore Perth. On arrival most of the group headed for St John’s shopping Centre where they enjoyed their lunch with a cup of coffee and visited the shops. The pedestrianised area nearby was the next place to have a wander and there were some nice local shops to discover. A good day was had by all.
The final summer programme trip was something new as the bus journeyed out to the Scottish Owl Centre at Polkemmet Country Park.
The group got to see a variety of different owls from around the world and also a wonderful indoor flight display to see these beautiful birds in action. Not only did the weather hold, but everyone had a fantastic fun and educational day out.
