Exciting News: PEP has been chosen by the ‘Tesco Bags of Help’ scheme to be included in the May and June community vote!

Bags of Help is Tesco’s exciting local community grant scheme, where the money raised from the 5p bag charge is being used to fund thousands of local projects in communities right across the UK. This time it’s PEP’s chance to have money raised by the local community for its Summer Programme of Events.

Voting for PEP will take place in 3 local stores:
Davidson Mains Tesco, Queensferry Road Tesco Express and the large Tesco superstore in South Queensferry.

To vote, you will need to make a purchase of any value at any of the three stores listed above. You will receive one token per transaction and it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.

So please choose PEP, and remember to get your token

Thank you!

‪#‎BrewingGood‬! HEINEKEN

Over the past few weeks there's been a #BrewingGood buzz in the head office at Edinburgh Broadway Park as colleagues have been backing the causes they want to support. I'm delighted to let you know that the staff at the Edinburgh Broadway Park office want to back our Summer Programme and are awarding PEP £1,500. We only have another £1,000 to raise. Thanks again to Heineken and their staff for their pledge.

John Lewis Donation

Dec 18 2015

John Lewis Edinburgh donated £900 to the Pilton Equalities Project and with it, some new kitchen equipment was purchased directly from the store.

On the 11th of December two PEP representatives attended John Lewis’ annual celebration event for all the local charities, community groups and schools that they had worked with over the last year. There, Judith Hunter, John Lewis’ Community Liaison Coordinator, presented worker Theodora Hidalgo with a cheque for the remaining donation.

It was a nice relaxed evening for all the charities involved and we would like to thank Judith and John Lewis for their hospitality and of course, donation.
