On the 30th of January 2015 the staff, volunteers and service users of PEP were invited to a civic reception hosted by Edinburgh’s Lord Provost the Rt. Hon. Donald Wilson.
40 lucky people went up to the City Chambers on the Royal Mile. To enjoy an evening designed to celebrate the work of the Pilton Equalities Project. They were all treated to a variety of drinks on arrival and mingled with the Lord Provost and other local North Edinburgh councillors.
The Rt. Hon. Donald Wilson then gave a speech congratulating PEP on its 25 years of work before wishing us well for the future. Manager Helen Tait then thanked the Lord Provost and the City of Edinburgh Council for hosting the event.
The evening finished off with a delicious buffet laid on for everyone to enjoy. We would like to thank everyone at the City Chambers for their kindness and hospitality… and look forward to returning in another 25 years!
