PEP is now working with ‘Scran Academy’, ‘Prep Table’ and ‘Fresh Start’ to create a Strategic Development Plan for meal deliveries; to be rolled out across the city. Currently the Scottish Government are being kept up to date on the initiative.
PEP is continuing to work with catering social enterprise; ‘Scran Academy’ and ‘Prep Table’ and ethical food provider ‘Union of Genius’ (UofG) to ensure that hot healthy and safe food is provided to people most at risk during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Our clubs may be postponed but our buses are still out and about! We have spent today working alongside 'Scran Academy', 'Prep Table' to provide and distribute meals and donations for isolated and vulnerable people within our community and those self isolating. Safety procedures are being strictly followed to adhere to food hygiene standards and practice.
On Tuesday 12th of February PEP drivers arrived at the organisations fleet of buses to discover two of them had been targeted by thieves. These thieves had expertly removed the Catalytic Converters from two of the newer buses.
