The Thursday Neighbourhood Group celebrated Robert Burns birthday in style. The table had been decorated by Elaine with tartan, heather and pictures of the Scots poet; James then kicked off the proceedings narrating the Selkirk Grace before a delicious haggis neeps and tatties lunch was served.
Pudding was shortbread and homemade tablet courtesy of Ryan. Stuart then finished the day off by reciting two of the poets best known works; the ‘Address to a Haggis’ and ‘To a Mouse’.
It was an enjoyable and memorable lunch.
