PEP’s annual Christmas party was held on the 22rd of December at the Queensberry Bowling Cub. The club hall looked great with all the Christmas decorations up and the tables all dressed for the celebrations ahead.
Last month Tony Delahoy received France’s highest honour the ‘Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur’.
This month he was honoured again; this time at PEP’s AGM where he was presented with the award for PEP’s longest serving board member. Tony has diligently been PEP’s treasurer since 1990, and we all would like to thank him for his loyalty and volunteering services over the years.
Music, a quiz, a buffet and a free raffle all contributed to a fun evening to say thank you to our volunteers for all the time freely given. This year the winning quiz team was helped by George and "hearing dog" Tom two of our newest volunteers. Our thanks also go to Scottish Gas, Morrisons, Emma Hall Hair Design, Old Chain Pier, Diane Palmer and James Kay who all kindly donated raffle prizes.
